Been a while since i posted but wanted to share mine and the wifes approvals. We realized we completed 3 years last month without any credit card applications and decided that for the year 2020 we try and get some sign up bonuses . Chase and BOA $200 sub's really grab our attention but after some research i remebered and realized that im on there black list for some charge offs back in 2010-2012 area. And after reading around in here i didnt want wasted hard pulls of probably getting denied so decided to try AMex BCE since ive never had business with them.
My Cards as primary are..
Cap 1 4400 Limit
Dicover 2100 Limit
Wifes cards as primary are..
Cap1 5500 Limit
Discover 20,000 Limit ... Gotta love that Love button lol
Victoria 6000 Limit
Local CU 6000 Limit
Gas Card 500 Limit
Best Buy 6000 Limit
She is authorized user on my cards as i am on hers. Credit limit increases i think are pretty much maxed cause they stopped giving out on both of us + when i got my cards my file was pretty rough.
I Went first with the application with the offer of 175 sub. Got approved for 8k limit ! I then refered my friend ( Wife )
She then applied with offer of 150 sub and got approved for 25k ! Yeah she fell off the chair lol .
I Will get a additional 75 sub for her approval . Total Sub of $400. Not to bad. What i did learn from this process is that i guess credit card companies dont consider your au limits into consideration only your primarys. Overall happy campers here.
We will do the 1k spend to reach the sub goal paying our bills etc .
I would like to take advantage of the sub's this year so after completing the 90 day 1k spend on both our cards im thinking of what other cards you guys suggest ? Of course BoA and Chase is out of the question for me . The wife shouldnt have a problem. Any imput be great , im thinking in 4 months go after another.
Amex pulled experian on both of us . We both normally have 1 % util . Scores are high 7s lows 800s.
