From what I've heard, TU. They look at TU for reviewing CLI.

They pulled EX when approving my app but TU for periodic review.  Really odd, but, it is BofA after all.

Do do you know if SP would be allowed if I have security freeze in place with TU?

Re: Aproved for Bank of America Cash Rewards card

How is Bank of America Cash Rewards re/ inquiries that were 13 months ago? Will any of these count? I have 60k in credit and 4.8 years credit history, although AAOA is only 1.8 years. FICO is approx 715 - waiting for it to update.

Income is over 100k. I do have 3 inquiries per report within the last 6 months, but more from 12 months ago. Does B of A consider ones that old at all? If AAOA were higher I would not have the same question, but knowing how they feel about older inquiries is critical in terms of deciding whether to apply. Thanks everyone!

Hello, I've noticed you've posted the same thing on a few different BofA threads, have you considered creating your own thread for this specific situation? You'd get more views that way and someone may be able to address it better. Good luck and welcome to the forums.

No problem. First go to the credit cards section, then right above the list of threads, you would click on the new message button and take it from there. Good luck! The members are very helpful, someone with experience would be glad to help.

Re: Aproved for Bank of America Cash Rewards card

Just want to provide an update and some great news!  Bank of America has not closed my cash rewards card even after several soft pulls w/ all 3 CBs.  Matter of fact, i was recently approved for Alaska Airlines Visa Sig card.  After i gained the courage to apply online, got the usual "We are reviewing your app" message, But then i called recon department multiple times & spoke with multiple analysts.  First analyst told me that I was denied and he couldn't do anything.  I decided to call again and this time I explained to the Analyst that i wasn't really looking to open another card but to convert my existing cash rewards card to Alaska Air Visa Sig.  He stated that he will fill out reconsideration form and forward to his manager.  Gave me a time frame of 48-72 hours and he will be following up once the decision is made.  Well, i waited patiently for 3 days and decided to call in myself.  Analyst looked my info and told me that my request was approved with credit limit of $9k.  I asked her if i needed to close my cash rewards card, and the answer was NO!

I guess loyalty and large balances in your account does pay off.  I never thought i would say this but I am actually a fan of BofA.  2 visa sig in less than 6 months with combined limit of $14k.  Heck i will promote them all day long :-)
