Got the same thing as the OP, called in next morning for verification.  Called just now, approved for $20k.  They are really into verifying info, apparently.  They told me it's a random selection of people chosen for verification.  Maybe so.  Just glad to have the card, it's my highest SL yet.

went ahead and called back after doing the verification about 5 days ago...wasn't given a limit so looks like it might be a decline.

Nevermind, called back again and spoke with someone else and I was approved for $8,000. Thanks again for that number.

Nice job and and kudos for being persistent. I had the same issues, already applied and too many apps for the card but, they never pulled anything.

They called my home number 2 days ago, presumably for verification. Gonna call back after work today. IF approved I'm hoping for a 5 digit SL

Good luck. I was trying to see if they would do a limit increase but they told me to wait until the card gets here and that it would be another HP.
