Hey baller. How did you find out about your denial? They keep telling me wait for the letter nonsense and they didn't pull from anything for me. See why I don't usually bother with these strange oddball lenders. TU was not on ice and I thought they'd pull from that.

It's either EX or TU - depends.  And, I thought you were planted in the garden and weren't going to bite?  One could wonder if you're asking for another AA, just my .02c

That's what happens when I read this website too long. Curiosity always kills the cat and I def need to focus on keeping that AA boogie man away. haven't had any new hard pulls since that incident thankfully. i always tend to fall for the trends here somehow even though I always tell myself they're not worth it most of the time.

Yes, and the cat has only so many lives!  I just wouldn't want to see you go through another AA.  Let's face it, Citi wasn't fun and AMEX was yet another sign.  At some point, no trend is worth it.  I didn't go for the Venture or Ring madness.

In all honesty, by the time I applied for BBVA, only a couple folks had been approved - One7 and B335is (from what I can recall).  I certainly did not expect a mad house with this one.  I guarantee you no one really knew anything about BBVA until a couple of these threads started surfacing.  Capital One, yes, Ring, sure.  Yet, I am accountable for the thread and feel responsible thiat this caused so many folks to leave the garden, even you are trying to get it and admitted you were not going to do so!

Granted, I can't force anyone to stay disciplined and not become weak or apply but I'm sure once folks saw the CL and APR, they also wanted a piece of the action and it was way too tempting for many.  So, lesson learned, I believe I won't post any more approval threads such as this one.  Too much chaos!

Re: BBVA NBA Approved!

Honestly I find it much easier for me to stay focused and not go out and get things I really wouldn't have cared about otherwise when I'm not on this site so much. I had even thought about leaving completely and coming back months later if that's what its going to take. Thanks for reminding me. It becomes a bad habit trying to rationalize getting this stuff and spending too much time here so unlearning the bad habit is going to take me a while to get used to.

I think it's a groupthink kind of thing. I'm just glad that there are people here who are able to talk some sense into me when I need it. Gotta keep trying to stick to the goals I originally had.

Don't overlook Chase as well they can just as easily become your next headache, Fin eluded to some valid points, just keep in mind there is always someone available if you just need to share some thoughts get feedback or just reflect on what you probably already know.

On the BBVA subject it looks like the most recent apps reflect more conservative limits and APRs so whatever quota they were trying to achieve must have been met also hasn't anyone noticed that the most recent approvals are double pulls.
