BCE approval!!

I've been kicking around applying for this and the Barclay Rewards MC.  Latest pulled EX was 677.  

Applied for BCE first and was approved, but only $1000.  

I had told myself I would apply for both no matter what, but now I am not so sure.  I really wanted the Amex.  Such a low limit makes me kind of rethink the Barclay. Not sure if I should go ahead and do it or not. 

But anyway, I'm pretty stoked about the BCE approval.  I don't usually cold app.  Got the 14 day notice at application (not instant) but immediately logged onto email and there was the approval email!!

Congrats on the AMEX!  What's your TU score as that's normally who Barclays pulls?

TU 659 through WM card, but Its due for a refresh in a day or two and I expect it to be up since some of my info has changed (For the better)

CK has TU at 697 (not reliable I know) I expect it will be somewhere between the two.

I was in your place 6 months ago. My TU was 631 when I apped for Barclay (approved $2K). Four months later apped for BCE (approved $6K, EX pull). Since then Barclay raised my CL to $3,300 on day of 6th statement. Congrats! And go for the BCE!

I was going to post saying not to rethink the barclay if you want it, as I've had mine since june @ 3K and only got a $1000 amex approval but you beat me to it. Congrats on both approvals.
