I've been researching and comparing grocery cards for the last couple months, and I decided to apply for the BCP before its current SUB offer expires. They approved me at 13.99 w/ an 11k SL, which I'm pretty pleased with. This will be my first Amex, so I'm looking forward to seeing whether all the good things people have told me about them as an issuer are true.

Congrats!
Welcome to the BCP fam!

Congratulations on your BCP success!
Congratulations!
Congrats - I love my BCP! I was approved for mine on 11/11 of last year and it's grown from a $10,500 SL to $30,000. I asked for $25K at 61 days and was denied, asked again at 152 days was approved and asked for $30K at 370 days and was also approved.
I'm on pace to just max out my $6K grocery spend to earn for the full $360 for the year, so it's a really good card for us.
Congratulations, @Slabenstein, on a great approval and Starting Limit!
Welcome to AMEX!
I debated between Blue Cash Preferred or the Gold since both pay well for groceries. It was suggested to pick either cash back or MR points as an AMEX strategy. I decided to go with MRs and the Gold since it pays well in dining out also, but Blue Cash Preferred is a great card!
