@CardHunter wrote:I developed a banking relationship with BCU a couple of years ago when they were the FOTM and moved my primary checking & savings over to them. I opened up a BCU Cash Rewards Card with a $25K limit and a $25K PLOC same day. A year later I took out a auto loan for $65K. Today I took them up on a elevated offer to open a BCU Travel Rewards + card for 70K welcome bonus points. I received a instant approval for a starting line $35K and the rep (which was awesome btw.) said if I wanted he could up the limit to $50K. Even though AMEX gets majority of my spend, by far BCU has gave me everything I've ever wanted, plus some. Just wanted to share my story, thanks for reading.

Were you ever asked for POI, from joining the CU till for each card? If so, what kind of POI? I don't think any lender could give this much credit line without substantial income.....Tnx
BCU requested POI the day I joined and applied for my first credit card, but with that they also gave me the PLOC with only 1 HP. They did request POI also for the auto loan because it was over 365 days after my first loan they said. This card was instant approval the rep said, even though it has been over 365 since the last requested POI, underwriting didn't request anything from me this time. The only kind of POI they have ever asked me for was my last paycheck stub.
So, pretty much they asked for POI each and every time except once. You never asked for CLI, right? I don't see any option to request CLI, unless its not available for me and that I would need to contact customer service for that....Don't know if if its worth asking for CLI with a HP, or just apply for another card with them when HP would be there anyway.....
How long have u had your card ? requesting a CLI is easy in the App click on card services scroll down its right under balance transfer. I have been a member with them for 2 years. When i first joined and got my first card with them they asked for POI since then they havent. between my two credit cards and PLOC i have $60K with them and my auto refinance is with them to they have been great.
I have this card for 5 years....I log-in to my account with them thru website than on app, which is why it seems I don't seee any option of Credit limit. You said that you were asked for POI when you joined this CU and got your first card, but were not asked for POI for other products that you have with them...but other member stated above that he was told by BCU that if POI would need to be submitted if 360 days have been passed from the last submission....So, in your case the gap between joining, obtaibning first card and other products was less than a year so to say that POI wasn't needed? Also, what kinda POI was requested, paystubs? Have you ever asked for CLI on any of these credit products? If so, can you confirm if it was indeed a HP? Tnx

The Gap was way over a year let me reiterate 2 years ago day 1 joining approved for a CC and personal loan.
It's been way over a year since I was asked for POI. I guess my profile speaks for itself. U are over thinking this I have had a CLI on card 1 it was a Hard Pull. I did this in my recent app spree two months ago. Here is best part the HP is good for 30 days so grab anything u want at one time My dashboard also showed me preapproved for $80K auto loan and $35K personal loan. POI only consisted of 2 pay stubs.
