BOA Application Review

A few weeks ago, I received a pre-approval in the mail for a BOA Cash Rewards CC. I sat on it for awhile, but after getting approved for a Barclay with a $1900 limit (which was my highest limit at the time), I was feeling a little frisky, so I decided to apply for the BOA. I got the dreaded "your application is under review" message, but I had read about others getting the same message and still being approved, so I wasn't too distraught over it. However, it's been 2 weeks now, and every time I check my application status, it says that it's still under review. Should I wait it out a little longer, or should I call the application line, or go straight to the recon line? Any advice or experiences would be helpful. Thanks =)

Call the backdoor number and talk to an analyst, my experience w/ BOA has been like that. I ended up calling and later was approved.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Painless to call just be friendly

Only answer the questions they ask and Hint Hint

Tell them how amazing they are and how much you really want the card and a relationship with them

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Thanks. I plan on telling them that I've heard good things about them, and that I'm looking forward to utilizing their rewards program and possibly a balance transfer.
