BOA CLI still with low spending.

I love and hate this card at the same time. Love my regular 91 days CLIs but hate that I can't do anything with this card but throw a subscription on there.

Timeline:Got card secured in March 2021 ($500 deposit).

July 2021: I increased my limit to $1000

August 2021: Card unsecured with auto CLI to $1500

November 2021: Monthly spend was $3.24, asked for 2x and was instantly approved for $3000. I instantly regretted not asking for 3x.

February 2022: Monthly spend $3.24 BUT I did use the card last month for $20 on a CPR class. Requested $10,000 (lol), they countered me and gave me $5100.

$1500 -> $3000 -> $5100

This is now my highest limit card. Haven't had the card a year yet. Spent less than $100 on it since like I said....it's used for my monthly $3.24 subscription and it's growing.

Will grow this card till I can get their Cash Rewards, transfer credit line and close it.

Did you call in to request graduation of the car after your 5th statement?  I'm curious as mine is coming up next month and I would like to graduate mine.

Yes the day after the 5th statement posted I called them and requested for my card to graduate.

Congrats for the fantastic growth.  Keep at it and hopefully it'll continue growing more and more. For what it's worth, you can put in whatever ridiculous amount you want (up to the character limit) and if you are eligible for an increase Bank of America will always grant you as much as they are willing to as long as you are eligible for an increase to begin with.

Congratulations @Trini88 May ask what is your scores / inquiries and baddies. I have a BOA card for last 14+ years and looks like it is bucketed and not sure if it is going to grow. Also I am rebuilding and my scores are moving up and baddies are falling off. I was going to ask for CLI in June/July of this year.
