BOA Secured Card Question!

Hi all I've been lurking for awhile and really trying to fix my credit after messing it up when I was younger. :/

So I applied for BOA secured and they took the $300 on Monday. Now does that mean I only have a $300 credit limit or do they decide that? Also how long should I wait to ask to change it to a cash rewards? Thanks!

Yes your CL is 300, grats on getting the secured card

As soon as you receive the card call the secured card analysts # found in the stickied backdoor #s thread and tell them to add the 3,2,1 rewards to the card.

I was able to ask for the cash rewards for my regular secured card by chat before I got my original card.

If anybody is interested in knowing, I asked via secure chat and they told me its a new card and to ask again in 3-6 months for rewards. Thank you all for the congratulations!

You do not have to wait 3-6 months call the secured underwriter # found in the backdoor #s thread
