BOA Secured

Friday, I tried my luck with the BOA secured as I was told it would be a good idea and i applied with a $300 limit. A few days ago I got apporved for sprint service (EXCITING as i though for sure I was going to get denied) I got the typical we will notify you in 7-10 business days of our decision. Any suggestions of what I should do or a backdoor number I may can call to find out if i got apporved or not ? I have applied with them for 3 times ( I know way too many ). This is my last app for 2 years trying to get my inquires off. Hopefully I get approved.

SInce you are in the building stage of credit, I dont you will have a problem getting approved for the card.

Harvey, you might try the Capital One prequalify tool. It's a soft pull. If it comes up congratulation you are pre-qualified for...., you then fill out the app, and it will likely be 3 HPs, 1 on each CRA. Worth a shot at the prequal. If you want one more card before heading off to the farm.

And ALOT of fully secured cards give a 7-10 day message as they want the money to transfer first before they will say approved.

My BofA secured took about 5 days, and CITI took almost a week, and Discover took while also.

I think Cap One was the only one that gave me an instant yes, but they give a looking time to fund.
