Hello myFICOers,
I applied for the Bank of America 1-2-3 Cash Rewards Visa Signature Card. I was previously declined for the same card in May and was offered the 99/500 offer but refused because I was dumb and didn't realize that I was offered the unicorn. Fast forward to today; received a letter in the mail that my earlier denial was in error due to a fraud alert. Was told to callback with the reference number on the letter. I bit and called they apologized and said the last application was deleted as it was over 90 days so need to apply again so well I did. Applied and the application went into pending status. Called the backdoor number verified my identity and the information on the fraud alert. Verified everything and was put on hold and he came back and basically non shalantly said "Congratulations Sir! you application is approved". You should receive the card in 7-10 business days. When I asked about the credit limit, apr and the offer I was approved for he gave me a $5K limit with 16.99% apr with 0% for 15 billing cycles. I was shocked and didnt belive him and told him that online status still shows under review. Well, he said I should receive an email and the status will update overnight.
Holy smokes! I am ecstatic. Great to be in with BoA. Below are my stats:
Score used EX FICO 08: 682
AAoA: 2 years 2 months
UTI: 10%
Inq: 17; 12 in the last 12 months
New Accounts: 10 in the past 6 months including this one.
Income: 55K
Well, the verdict is that BOA is not inq and new account sensitive but YMMV.
Thanks to all along this journey.
Congrats! but what is YMMV?
Hi @Anonymous, congrats on the approval!

Well I wonder if my odds get better if I have both a checking and savings account with them for the past 4.5 years and have my direct deposit with bank of america
I was hoping the same thing except Ive had my checking account with them for 25 years
Congratulations...I really like BOA...use the card and pay on time...it will grow nicely....
Great job!! And dont forget to ask for 25k when that request credit line increase prompt shows up in 6 months.
