I've read that BoA might combine HP's again from one of the comments on DoC, so I decided to try it out for myself by doing a BoA app spree. Short story is that I was approved for an Alaska, Premium Rewards, and Biz Cash Rewards with 2 TU pulls. I also got the 75k + $200 Amex Gold card in this spree as well (no pull because of prior relationship). 4/4 approvals got me to 12/24 new accounts (20/24 if you count Biz cards), which is my personal record.
For those who are curious about the specfics, here is how it all played out. From my experience in the past, BoA usually pulls TU in Maryland, but EX is also fair game. [Mod cut] for the Biz Cash Rewards then Alaska card (with the targeted 60k for $3000 MSR offer) on the same day. 2 separate pulls were done on my TU. The Biz card went to pending while I got $12k instant approval for the Alaska. BoA then offered the secured Biz Cash Rewards if I opened a CD with them, so I went into the bank and finished up the paperwork there. At this point, it was about a week since the initial app, I decided to try my luck with the Premium Rewards and it went to pending yet again (no HP at this time). [Mod cut] a couple minutes later I also got words from BoA that they approved my Premium Rewards by reallocating some of my available credits. And a few days after that, my secured Biz Cash Rewards was also approved with no further HP. While the new BoA cards are still not reported, I jumped on the high Amex Gold offer and was approved on the spot. I think I will garden for awhile since it's gonna take me some time to work through all those minimum spends.
