Bank of America CCR Approval Datapoints - FIFA Design

I went ahead and submitted and app for BOA CCR just because they have the FIfa world cup design ending July 31st. I kept my util low (25%ish to 6%ish) the month leading up to this. I read that BOA has some rule of 2 for nonbanking customers and rule of 7 for banking customers (cant open more than those amounts for personal credit cards in the previous 12 months). I had already applied for various cards before this so in anticipation I opened a BOA checking back in March.

I got approved for $12000 and personal BOA hit my experian. Yesterday I applied, forgotten I froze experian, hoping they would pull Transunion but it got pending. They sent me an email this morning. and I had to unfreeze and call in.In the email they only mentioned Experian and Transunion, not Equifax (i had EQ and TU unfrozen) so it seems BOA is confirming they exclusively pings EX and TU? maybe?

My very first credit card was BOA back in 2007 but I cancelled it, so this is my first BOA since that one. Im going to apply for the business CCR soon, so hopefully they merge the two inquires since it would be within 30 days. The only ones I really want now are the Fidelity 2% Visa, and the US Bank Cash plus. I opened fidelity accounts about 2 months ago, in April, and I just opened a US Bank personal checking this month, to get ready to apply for those two in fall and winter, respectively.

Re: Bank of America CCR Approval Datapoints - FIFA Design

congrats

for me it's exp for personal and TU for biz, and they use 1 HP in a 30 day period, so in the future, if you want to use TU, apply for a biz cc with only tu unfrozen first and then freeze tu/exp and then apply for personal products

I did the opposite, let them pull exp for a personal and used that pull on biz products

Re: Bank of America CCR Approval Datapoints - FIFA Design

Thanks. Im gonna have to do the same, since EX was used for personal. in a week or two, Ill use it for the business. Ill keep that in mind. Ive been keeping track and it seems most banks use EQ or TU for business, and primarily EX for personal, or EQ/TU as backup for personal. I should have figured.

Thanks for sharing, and congrats! I'd be resenting that card already after the U.S. showing, unfortunately...Smiley Sad
