Bank of America CLI + Cash Rewards Approval!

I was working on my utilization spreadsheet and thought I'd try my luck at increasing my BofA.

I started with a $500 secured card. 1 year later it was graduated to an unsecured $1,000 limit. Less than 2 months later I received another auto CLI to $5,000. Just tried today for an increase to $10,000 and it was approved. Utilization went from 28.11% to 14.06%.

I'm not sure who they pulled at the moment.

UPDATE: Since they use the same HP for 30 days, I also applied for the Cash Rewards card for the 3% gas. I was also approved for $7,000

Also, it was risky, but I did this while they are doing credit card system maintenace.

Are you sure it will only be 1 HP? I read that if the apps are online they can pull you for each and to make sure they use the same HP is better to call.

Anyway, congrats going from 5k to 17k with BofA.

EDIT: you can add the cash rewards to the secured card, so if you know someone with a secured card without rewards, tell them to call/chat and ask to add it to the card.

I haven't been able to confirm it yet, that's just what I kept reading on multiple forums. I will fine out as soon sa my monitors read about it!

I didnt realise I could change the secured card to rewards. Had I known that I would have stuck with my 10k. Thanks!
