@Janneman   This card has had a Balance Transfer balance on it since April '22.  The 0% promo was due to fall off April 1st this year, so I paid off the balance on Friday. On Monday, the payment posted and showed zero balance, so I went ahead and tried the CLI while it was clear. The intent is to move another BT to it next week under a new 0% promo offer, so I was hoping to raise the limit a little for utilization purposes.

That's beautiful....Availing BT offer and then get CLI as well...Btw, I believe there must be BT fee....right? I have this very same card for the last 3 years and got no CLI...not even once...despite of good usage...I now gave up on it and put in the drawer....They always give me the reason- not enough usage....Anyway, I have enough CL on it but I believe I should have some increases as well...

Re: Bank of America - CLI approval

@Janneman   Yes, there's a BT fee....only 3%. Which is less than most other BT offers these days. This card also usually gives me the longest time on BT offers, as well.....this new one will be until May 2024, so approx 14-15 months.

When I got the card (3/19), I went 2.5 years before my first CLI, and I had to request it, no auto-CLI.

SL was $,6000.....my first CLI (9/21)was $5600, 2nd CLI (12/21)was $4400, and this was my 3rd CLI (2/23) $4000.

But in all fairness, the most use I've had with the card has primarily been with 0% BT offers. Running up the balance on other cards, then transferring over to BoA to stretch my spending. Same thing with Discover, primarily a BT card for me now. I get the most BT offers on those 2 cards than any other, constantly.

@Taurus22

Thanks...You are right that 3% BT fees is best these days... However, FNBO does send out BT checks with 2% fees to most of its customers...Anyway, I am glad that you are taking the advantage of these BT offers and utilizing them to your benefits... Way to go...
