Bank of America Premium Rewards Approved

After gardening for almost 9 months I gave in and applied for the BofA Premium Rewards card on Friday.  I was aware that it is a reasonably difficult card to get so I wasn't surprised when I got the notification that the application was undergoing further review; and decided to let the process play out.

This morning I received an email stating that the application had been approved but the starting limit was conspicuously absent. I logged in to my online account and immediately noticed that the credit limit on my Cash Rewards card had been reduced by $15,000. So I called BofA and a friendly representative informed me that the Premium Rewards approval was for $21,000.

Congrats on getting a very difficult card as you know!  I have been turned down a few times and I realize gardening is the only thing that will allow me to obtain this card or a large very large influx of cash to BofA or merrill.  Whether I am willing to do so for this card determines if I want to keep at least 100k with BofA for top tier of rewards.
