Barclay Apple Rewards

Planning to purchase a new Imac soon and thought I might take advantage of their 0% financing.  No previous relationship with Barclay, but decided to take a swing last night as I'd read the approval requirement on the Apple Reward card are fairly lax.

Hopefully this opens the door for better Barclay cards down the road.

$2000 instant approval.  No dice on recon request to $3000.

Is it only 2% when using Apple pay? And what do they pull? Not to sound ignorant I just haven't spent much time reading on the Apple card. Not a huge fan.

This is not the new Apple card by Goldman Sachs. This is the existing Apple credit card thru Barclay. 

• 3 points on Apple purchases (Apple.com, Apple Store, App Store, iTunes, if you are on the iPhone upgrade program and pay the monthly fee with this card you also get 3 points)
• 2 points at restaraunts
• 1 point everywhere else

It's not a great card really.  Zero % for the Apple store and a foot in the door with Barclay.  I'll get $50 in app store / music cards for my purchase!
