Holy Crap! Heavenly
You have Barclays number alright. I'm still w/o that very first elusive Sallie Mae. Then again my TU is terribly heavy ATM ![]()
But Congrats! big time on bringing home the 2nd Sallie Mae and with an Instant Approve to boot. SL is good also.

You know Barclay is like the only lender to instantly approve me out of the cards I have now? I feel like Oprah from Color Purple when I think about my other applications "All my life I had to fight..." ![]()
BCE was a recon, Blue for Business had to be verified, Discover I had to call and chit chat for a few minutes, every card with Chase its been pending or verification issues. Barclays like don't worry we'll make this easy for you lol Wait SimplyCash was instant! So one Amex card out of three was instant. ![]()

Barclays gave me my first Instant Approval on the Rewards MC with a nice 5K SL AND lowest APR so i can't complain too much ![]()

I can't figure out how to quote multiple people at once but as far as the WMC question the first was a WMC as well. Barclay doesn't seem to have a certain limit requirement for issuing WMC. Any limit will do!
CAPTOOL I've had the first SM since 10/2014, the Red Aviator (US Airways) is also a Barclay card and that was approved 03/2015.
Wow, is this tempting. I got my SM in 9/2014 and my Aviator in January this year. I have no other TU inquiries aside from the two Barclays inquiries and one to get my apartment.
Do you mind if I ask how many total accounts you have opened since you got that first SM? I'm at 8, but only 7 are reporting and 2 of them are Amexes backdated to 2006.
I've been wanting this for a while, but I had convinced myself to wait a full year from my first SM. Now I don't know...

I don't mind at all
Let me think...I won't count the business cards bc they don't report to personal credit. Since the first SM was approved I've opened five new personal accounts, however, I applied for Discover and BCE on the same day as SM so if those don't count then that brings it down to three. Whether you consider the new accounts total as three or five in my experience they aren't all that sensitive to new accounts like I've read here many times, although I suppose it depends on your overall profile. I think you would be good for a second SM but its up to you ![]()

Thanks for the info, and congrats on that second SM! I'm seriously jealous. If a second SM was the only thing on my radar, then I think I'd definitely do it. As it stands, I think I might wait and app at the same time as my next Chase/Citi card.
I just got the Southwest Premier, so I'm hoping to pair that with a SW Plus 50k offer for a companion pass or do a Sapphire Preferred. I'm banking my Freedom UR points to possibly combine them with that bonus. Or maybe it'll be a Thank You Premier. Who knows. A second SM is definitely in the long term plan though. I hope you're right about it not going anywhere. ![]()
