This is only my second post and I'm rebuilding towards the top daily.
I applied and was approved for Barclay rewards on 11/2013 with a credit limit of $500.
Never seen an auto CLI. Called last month because of what I had been reading on this board and given an increase to $2000. Fast forward a month. Called today and spoke with a young lady and discussed options for a CLI becuase the holidays and she offered me another $2000 increase, now I'm sitting at $4000 with them. I thanked her kindly for everything they as a bank have done for me.
One thing I don't understand and maybe someone can chime in and assist me on this one, I opened a Walmart card roughly the sametime last year, was given $300, never received and auto CLI. Called them and the lady I spoke with said she would move me to $500 but no more. Is there something I am missing with Synchrony?
My oldest baddie is 3 years old now and that was the Ch. 7 bankruptcy. I always use the walmart card and PIF every few days.
Currrently my utilization is at 22% but I am about to make some payments that will drop me right about 10-12% untilization.
Now I'm sitting with:
Military Star 4700
Credit One 400
USAA 2000
Barclay 4000
Walmart 500
Cap One Quicksilver 300
Cap One Platinum 2000
Kay Jewelers 5100
Fingerhut 600
Total $19,600.00 in credit.
Needless to say, I am heading to the garden for the next 12-18 months.
Congrats on the increases! I don't have a WM card but hear, antecdotally, they don't dish out that many big CLI's.
CONGRATS on your credit success!!!
Congrats on Barclays. As for Wally, did you call the regular customer service line or Credit Solutions?
Congrats!
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations for your CLI on your Barclays Rewards Mastercard! Continue Success in The World of Credit Cards!

congrats!
Walmart has Hitched its wagon with a loser bank - Synchrony. This came out of GE Capital. They have no ability to price risk and thus keep their business throttled. Amex has the industry best ability to price risk.
