Absolutely. I was approved for the Apple Rewards VISA for $1900. The next day I called the UW/Credit Analyst line, and politely told them I wanted to buy a $3,000 computer, and wanted to put it on this card. If that was not an option, I had a Chase Freedom with 0% until July 2016 I could put it on.
They bumped me to $3500

@Anonymous wrote:NO!!! I've had the BRMC for 3 years now with a 500$ limit. Now at 35,000 avail credit, 1%% utilization and a 4k US Airways card. I talked with a credit analyst and he refused to increase the $500 credit limit on my BRMC. At this stage, I am going to ask them to move the line to my US AIR card, then close it out.
See this is something I just don't understand.
You will have the same available credit either way.
But, you're taking away 1 positive payment a month.
What could that extra $500 on another card's limit possibly offer you at $35k/avail?
