So after my recent app spree left my TransUnion unscathed, I decided to go for the last card on my wish list.
I've had my eye on that 8% APR for a year now. I applied and my app went to pending. I contacted the credit department, and spoke to a really nice gentleman (Mitch) who reviewed my credit report, and came back with an approval of 5k.
He complimented me on my handling of their two other cards, and said it's in accordance with what they like to see. Surprisingly he made no mention of the high balance I have been carrying on my Sallie Mae for the last 3 months.
He offered to move some of my available credit around from my Rewards Visa, to which I agreeed since I now have the Double Cash card.
Christmas has certainly come early for me.
