Hey Hum....did you have 1500 Cl limit when you earned the 3k auto CLI?

I'm 2 statements away, and I've been spending about 2k per months, and making large payments every week, then leaving 9% on card. I was hoping for a 3k increase, because I have a nfcu 5k limit card. Does Barclay usually give 3k auto limit after with 1500 cl?

No, my limit was higher, but my scores were also higher and were in the 700's when I received the 3k CLI. Different situation.

I still would not give up hope for something good to happen for you at the 12 month mark. It sounds as if your spend and payments are good. Regardless of your limit, Barclay's wants to be your main card. Barclay's also loves lots of usage. if your spend level is high they may give you an increase at the 12 month mark. You do want to ensure that you are keeping a reasonable level of utilization also, and not charging the card up to its limit continually.

I can't predict what they will do as each situation as different, and your scores are still in the really low 600's. Do what you can to get your scores up and they will respond favorably.

I also see under your signature that you have 24 inquiries per report. That is really a lot. It may require some time away from those inquiries to see the result you are hoping for, as Barclay's is not a huge fan of inquiries. I have 5 inquiries per report and I still feel that is too many.

Don't give up hope, you are going in the right direction with making large payments and establishing a solid payment history!
