Using it for what?  It is likely when you applied that you were hit with a TU pull.  So did they try to use VS just to confirm the presence of the account and without another pull?  Then when they didn't see the JCP account, they did a HP on EX? Vantage was certainly not used in your lending decision.  I'm just trying to clarify what they are using it for.

I probably didn't use the right words ("is using") to describe the process. I just wrote that, because when I saw my credit score on the letter they sent me, it was matching my VS score.
