@Gregory1776 This version of the card, the darker World MC, has the 5x on Gap brands purchases and is a 2x card for anything else (effectively a 2% catch-all card outside of Gap brands). What's great are the lucrative monthly and quarterly offers and bonuses, they're practically throwing points at me.

Examples are the most recent monthly spend bonuses for April, May, and June, each month offering $50 in rewards for $500 spend, and prior to that doing a quarter of 5X on dining, gas, and grocery. These kinds of promotions have been ongoing for years.

This version of the card also gives Icon status which provides better shipping and various bonuses like quarterly moments, multiple brand spend at 2 or more different stores (Gap, Old Navy, BR, Athleta), etc. Of course value is in the eye of the beholder, if you value points towards merchandise vs. cash. I'm inundated with polos and khaki's now haha.

Last night (4th of July, 2024) I applied for CLI on my Arrival Mastercard...I instantly got a message that they will get back to me in 7-10 days. However, early morning today on July 5, 2024 I received an email telling me- Congratulation. Your request for the credit line increase has been approved. We value your 11 years membership and your excellent credit score. But they increased me only $50....Unbelievable.....I have NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER ever heard of ANY lender giving CLI for $50...$100 I have heard from Capital one to many people but I have never heard of $50....I have this card for the last 10-11 years and I do use it now and then...lately I did use heavily....I do not know as of now if it was HP or SP because I have not checked my CRs but so far I have not received any alert from any CR as well....Unbelieveable....This was my first request for CLI in 7-8 years...I am sure underwriter purposely did this to take a jibe or for fun....
