Barclays approved on second recon call! $1000 CL

So Barclays didn't like me when I applied a couple weeks back. I called last week and tried to recon, but the underwriter and me didn't really "click". So I thought, why not, I'll try again this morning. I got a nice sounding rep on the phone and explained how I was willing to start with a small limit and work up. I also explained how I wanted to work up to the Sallie Mae card to help with my student loans. I told her that if I got that I'd def use this as my primary card. She said she'd give me a chance with a $1k limit and I was stoked! 

I want to thank everyone here for posting your recon stories. I never even knew it was possible to recon, and your stories gave the courage to try twice!

Now I'm off to the garden until June 1.
