Bilt Obsidian Approval

Long time BILT card holder high credit score, virtually no balances. Went to apply for the upper BILT one about 2 weeks ago and was denied. Shortly after recieved a email stating they were aware that excellent scores, customers etc being deined in the transition. Also said it all was in the works basically.

Got a invite today to BILT with only the first two tiers available. Hit the one for the Bilt Obsidian and approved for what I had on my original BILT. Interestingly it opted that I could keep the other account and it transition for a equal line of credit for a Well's Fargo Autograph card which I opted to do. I was under the impression that retaining BILT automatically closed your Wells Fargo.

Hard credit check was required to absolve this.

To be honest BILT with the changes seem to be only a great deal if you find their rewards system to your liking. Unlocking the full potentional of BILT now requires focused spending with BILT at the cost other rewards programs.

I am impressed they revisited my case though. No reason not to my credit situtation is ideal. Same time insulted I couldnt get their higher end card for whatever reason.

Re: Bilt Obsidian Approval

So you had two inquiries and now have Autograph + Bilt?
