Congratulations @Rudy1 ! Read this and told my daughter and she tried for her Bloomie's card also just now, got $1,000.00 increase, up from $2,000.00 to $3000.00!  She has a 0 balance, never tried for a CLI before, 696 FICO. Thinking it was a SP, will figure out which bureau they used, thanks for the push!

Congratulations on DD CLI!

Thanks @AllZero , she is slowly chipping away at her utilization, so every little bit helps!

@Jnbmom - I have had the card for 27 years(I know!) still not my oldest card it had a $6000 credit line at one point then decreased due to other credit issues.

@GApeachy - I see a SP on Experian for CBNA so that leads me to believe that they SP Experian for this CLI.

@nuohlac - 1. I have had the card for 27 years my SL was $800. 2. No this is not my first cli. 3.At one point I held a $6000 credit limit on this card then it got decreased back down to $300 for some credit problems this happened a while ago. I just never tried for CLI's on this card because I know how stingy CitiBank can be. I did a $800 cli to $1000. Then another CLI(This one) for $1000 to $3000 all with no hp. I only tried this because I saw people going monthly to Bloomingdales/Macys and getting CLI's so I thought why not try it.

My Fico scores are 717- Equifax, 736 TransUnion, 726 Experian.

Thanks for the congrats and hope this helps someone.

Thanks for such a detailed response! Keep that rebound steam going.

@Rudy1 Are you going to request another cli?  After all these years of not requesting maybe a couple of back to back cli's are in the cards for you.
