I was approved for the Travel Rewards this morning, so I decided to try to use the same HP for a CLI on my BBR account. The rep I spoke with said that they are able to use the same HP for 30 days - that's new info to me for BofA so hopefully that will be helpful for others as well.
In any case, I asked for $5k from current $1.7k and it was granted. This card started originally as a $200 fully secured card. I know the theory with BofA is to ask high and let them counter, but I'm all good with $5k on a BBR. I'd actually like to save some room for other potential cards with them that I'll actually use - BBR is great for the free money but I don't actually use it for anything other than a minimal monthly spend.

Very nice, congrats on the CLI.. I think you left more money on the table so next time to be afraid to ask for more
