That is so fumny, because they increased our limit, too! The BofA card was the first "big boy"'credit card that my husband got. It was only 1k so my husband gave one to me and one to his dad for emergencies. I have never used it, but my father in law uses it once a month at the VA for his meds (a whopping $24). A year ago they increased it to 2k, and today I said hells bells and submitted a request and they increased it to 4k! Right now hubby uses AF Arrival, and he doesn't want to switch out even when the AF hits ( they gave him a 10k limit, btw). His credit is excellent, and he can definitely get a better card, but he is happy with what he has.
I was doing some comparison shopping to see how the BofA cash stands, but I decided to do the CLI first.

Lol, well congrats on the increase - and the year of gardening! This one hp won't affect your garden that much, but the increased CL and concurrently lowered util should boost your FICO nicely

ugh people are so misinformed... that's one thing BofA is good at... once they have a hard pull they will use it for 30 days... either request it online again yourself or call the backdoor number and they will use that pull and see about more.

I was told by fidelity (not sure.. but everybody says fidelity boa together.. same.. blah.. but anyway) if it's within 30 days. they use the same credit report.. but then when i tried it.. it was another hit!!.. they said the would request to remove it but it was still on my credit report.. so meh..

just call in to backdoor, the system won't even let them pull again because it's going to be there.
