BofA amazes me.

My LOC with them has gone from $5k to $20k since August of last year. Just requested 20k from 12k and instantly approved. Now I wish I would have asked for more but I don't know if I should. I am sure it helps that I bank with them. Just wanted to share my story with BofA.

You should always ask for what you want and not what you think they will give you. That way you will not short change yourself.

$20k was what I wanted until I was instantly approved for it lol

Congratulations! And thank you for sharing your experience! I dont bank with them but they gave me a $5k cash rewards card. I want to make it grow too and hope to have your success!

I don't. That might be part of the issue, haha! I wasn't super bummed about it since I didn't think I would be approved anyway but I will try again at some point down the road.

Now I feel like I want to push my luck with Chase but I know they are a bit more conservative in my case.
