I've been waiting for either a pre-approval or getting below 5/24 before applying, but both happened around the same time. The green "You're Already Approved" offer popped up this morning, 4 days after being 4/24 (7/13/2018). Without an offer, I was going to wait until August 1st to give it some time and a new month, but the pre-approval was good enough for me to submit an app.
The offer: Standard $200 for $500 in spend over 3 months. 0% APR on purchases for 15 months and then 14.99% after that. Instant approval with CL of $19,800. It does not appear like any of my CLs were shuffled to make room.
My Trifecta is complete! Now back to the garden for at least 9 months to get back to 4/24 again. At that point, I'll be considering the Marriott Boundless card. I plan to upgrade my no AF HH after its one year anniversary in August if an Amex offer pops up.
