I got approved for the SYW card at $4.7k, which makes me think the reason is because I burned them 2008? Regardless that makes 4 out of 5 banks that have welcomed me back, Amex is the sole blacklisted company to still hold a grudge and I could care less.
I was told I could call within 72hrs to talk to rercon for a higher limit without a credit ding, have any of you been apporved for a higher SL?

EQ ding with zero apps within 5yrs+ years
4kish is normal approval for card SL. Congrats on approval

Its not Wells whom I burned as well gave me $12.5k I also burned B of A $15.5K Citizens $8k etc
I am just saying and with my current CL I would like to see a little bit more
Go ahead and call them ASAP but keep your expectations in check and have in mind a reasonable story to give how you've leverage a higher limit. Citi in general isn't particularly generous with starting limits on their cards, $4.7K is a good SL even for a core card for someone who isn't a current Citi cardholder and a clean report with no prior negative history with Citi, but worst case is that they are amenable to CLIs when a card is regularly used.

There is a 72 hr wait period before any mods can be done. At least they have 24/7 customer service to do see if they can do those mods over the weekend
Congratulations on your Citi SYW approval!
congrats
Congrats!!!!

'Grats. This is an interesting card that is always on the edge of my radar. Maybe some day.

Finally got my card today, found out it doesnt work with Apple pay? Will now have to carry the card in my wallet for places that take Apple Pay that allready use.
Honestly for me, this card was a waste. I would have never wasted a inq or got this card had I known all the little issues it has. The apple card I got, had a better SL and offers better CB than this card.
