When you say you needed it for your European trip, you mean for buying flight tickets and hotels from here, right? Or are you planning to use your Amex in Europe? Don't you have foreign fees?

I just needed it for the plane tickets... Definitely using my Cap1 for most purchases to avoid foreign fees.
