It seems as though as soon as I had almost zero balances, they all showed me love. Still rebuilding, but it's nice that they gave me increases no matter how small
they are. I had $1500 with chase and they knocked me up another $1k. I don't ask for huge amounts. The others all went up several hundred. Even Credit One, which I don't use, gave me a free CLI without even asking! I am planning on making sure my balances are always PIF and then waiting until the end of the year before asking again. I think sometimes it's easier to ask and get approvals around the holidays. The only weird one was American Eagle. I had $150 with them. I was making a purchase and they asked how much more I needed and they raised me to $277. LOL, what a crazy amount. I don't really use it and if I do, it's to buy clothes for my niece and nephew. With the coupons they send, you can get great deals on the clearance rack. Plus I have Shoprunner so free 2-day shipping makes it worth it. Bloomies even gave me a CLI to match my Macy's and added a major purchase account. Not enough to really buy furniture there but enough that you can put any purchase of $499 or more on it they said.
