I just got approved for CSP after waiting for sooooo long! The only card left on my list to get is BCE but I need advice on when to apply...my utl as of today is 51% but will be at 20% when bureaus are updated next week. I opened 4 cards six months ago to help establish more payment history and I have about 12-15 inq from each bureau...
Do I app today and go with it (I'll have high UTL but the HP wont show yet)
Do I app next week (lower UTL but HP showing)
Wait 2 months and let CSP hit report (bring UTL down but will show high limit) ((I have 7 other cards all around 1k limit with the highest being 1.25k)
What do I do?
Either way I'm soooo happy I got approved for this card. Could not have done it without YOU GUYS!

Hp show instantly. I would apply after cap reports because of the higher limit but for sure at least wait for util. To update
congrats
Congrats on your new card
Congrats, OP! Welcome to the CSP family. What are your current scores? Any baddies? Just to be safe, I would recommend you wait another 3-4months before applying for AMEX & let your CSP report.
Thanks! TU FICO is 656, not sure the other two, I'm sure very close to it. No collections or derogs. I have 3 student loan accounts (out of 12 total) that are showing 180 days late around December of 2010. Since then they have all been reporting as OK. I know it would be better to have that UTL down and the higher limit reporting, I'm just concerned that since I just opened 4 cards 6 months ago (which makes 7 total reporting, not including CSP) having another brand new account on top of those along with the new inq is going to shy them away. My AAoa is 2.3 yrs Does the higher CL and lower UTL outweigh the new accounts and inq though?...

again the INQ's are instant and already showing to anyone who pulls that same report.
high CL and lower util will for sure play into an approval.
