Hi everyone,
just curious to to see what you all thought about my odds for a CSP Approval.
My current FICOs are 770 EQ with 4 inquiries, 771 TU with 8 inquiries, and 750 EX with 13 inquiries. My AAoA is a little over 6 years, no my oldest card is 29 years thanks to AMEX backdating. My income is a little over 100K and Util is at around 5%.
I'm just worried about my recent inquiries and new accounts. Since November, I have opened up a BCP, Chase Freedom, Chase Amazon, Sallie Mae, Cap One QS, Chase Ritz, I also have a discover that was opened in June 14, and a AMEX PRG and Platinum that were just opened and not reported yet. I do not have any current balances on the Chase Amazon or Freedom, but I have a balance of about $550 out of 9K on the Ritz. What do you guys think? I don't want to waste another EX HP.
Have you tried the Chase prequal site to see if CSP pops up?
I did and nothing came up. The freedom came up for me in the past.

I think you will be fine... Only thing I would be slightly worried about is all the new chase cards in such a short time, this would make 4 in 4 months... Depending on your limits of your other ones, Chase might feel over exposed.. Your scores are strong enough for sure.. I don't think Inquires would stop you 6 new cards is just a bit scary is all to avoid AA.. How much in new credit? I think you would be ok though.
You have a good chance but you might have to reallocate some credit limits if you are close to their internal limit for you.

Did you recently take an offer from them? If you read the writting on their pre-qual site it says either opted out OR you recently accepted an offer.
That could be the reason no pre-quals are showing up.. They recently changed that portion of the site i believe
Chase has my highest limit actually at 9k, so that's a good point that they might feel like they are giving me too much. I guess if I do get denied there is always the venture....
I took the Chase freedom prequal offer in early December so that could be why nothing is showing up on prequal
Also a side note, also make sure you don't close the cards after the bonus is met and transfer limits. That is just my opinion as well. I do think you would be ok though and most likely would be approved...Just tread carefully on bonuses as stated if that is what you are after and continue to put purchases on the other cards after the spend has been met.
Thanks for the support everyone. I just applied and got the 7 to 10 message. I'm assuming it's because they have already given me my most credit so far. Looks like I'll be calling tomorrow, but I'm expecting denial.
