CSP Approval

Finally hit the submit button..

11.2k instant approval! Last known FICO from Barclay: April - 783.

Should I also apply the Freedom card to max. the points?? Or would that be too much since I already have Sallie Mae, BCE, and Citi Forward?

Eh.. There goes 7,000 points...

Just booked a travel package that's over $3,500... Sure wish I had CSP or other travel card in hand.. But instead, had to put it on Amex for 1% CB! Smiley Frustrated

*Tempted to apply one right now..*

I think my memory is going, I thought you applied and were approved for an CSP? Am i losing my mind. Thats an bummer on 1% CB, think of it this way 1% is better than 0% :-)

Totally WORTH the pull! You'll already be past well past the minimum spend getting you 45,000 (5000 AU) plus an extra 7000 UR points.

Haha. It all happened so fast. I was considering CSP and was wondering if they'd over night the card to me, but I wasn't sure if It'd get here on time because I had to book it ASAP...

Re: CSP Approval

Congrats on the CSP!  Believe the UW for both cards are the same so it way work out for you to apply for the freedom now.  I'm sure others will chime in.

What's done is done... maybe next time you'll be able to to maximize your cash back. Smiley Happy Think of it this way you just got $35 back in like 2 months. lol Wondering why you didn't put it on Sallie Mae? It's still 1% but you'd get your points/money back faster. Smiley Happy

Re: CSP Approval

WTG Congrats on CSP and sweet starting limit too... My 2 cents says go ahead and app for the freedom...I have both and yes most of us use both to max points,,

Hopefully  1 of the experts will chime in to instruct us..lolSmiley Tongue.

True :] Just thought that Amex has better customer service and pretty good travel protection (I assume) if anything goes wrong.. Also, I have about $170 cashback already sitting in my Amex, and I'm not using the Amex much lately.. So this is a nice round up if I want to withdraw the money.

Also just an update, I finally pulled the trigger and applied for the CSP. Approved for 11.2k.

Will definitely use this card abroad since it has no FTF. There's also a trip coming up that I can put the expense on CSP, too!
