Well this was completely unexpected. I've had a great run over the last three weeks, picking up all but one of my cards in that span (longer version http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Recon-chances-with-Citi-and-Capital-One/td-p/3027802). I asked the wise people of this great forum if I should apply for another card (http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Recon-chances-with-Citi-and-Capital-One/td-p/3027802), and gardening was the unanimous answer, and I was in agreement with that.
Today, I decided to payoff and close my Cap 1 QuicksilverOne (which I just got PC'd to last week), as the APR was astronomical and I would never use given my new options, all of which have no APR currently. I told myself I would apply for one card to replace it. I decided to go big or go home, and applied for the CSP, since I already have the Freedom with Chase, and didn't want to add another bank to my list.
To my shocking surprise, I was instantly approved with a 5K limit. Never in a million years did I think I would get approved, especially with it being the seventh card I applied for this month.
Baffled and elated.
Congrats on your approval!!  Welcome to CSP family, call them back and ask them to expedite the card for ya ![]()
Didn't even know I could do that. Thanks!
Congrats OP!! A huge run for you this month. Garden Strong.
And don't wait too long to call and have it expedited. Because if it's anything like my situation... you'll get the expedited card. And then you might get the first card that they already put  in the mail, lol ![]()

Should I call the backdoor number or just the regular number on the back of my Freedom? Edit: And Thanks!
Called the number on my Freedom and they said they couldn't expedite. Three to five business days. Incompetent CSR or policy?
