My wife just applied for CSP today and got the 30 day message. she initially received a pre approval letter from CHASE. We called the recon number and they said the application is pending verification and the deoartment is closed. I can give you their number and you can call them tomorrow.
my question is as they didn't say it was denied straight by the system and pending verification, does that mean they need to verify the application with credit report ? Did anyone have any experience of applying on Sunday and getting stuck as their verifications department is closed on Sunday? My wife's scores are around 720 on all bureaus. She have high balances on other cards. Her highest credit limit is 4700 from discover. She also has a CHASE freedom of 2300 for over 2 years now. Last time she applied for credit was November 1.
do you think she has chance of getting approved ?

My CSP app last weekend gave the same message.. I apped friday evening.. got the wait message.. called saturday morning and they said i needed to verify info with security dept but that office was closed on the weekends.. called in first thing monday morning and answered some questions simply to verify it was actually me applying for the card and i got approved for 5k.. my next oldest card btw is a freedom card i've only had for two months..

stay strongWe just checked her Equifax and Experian reports today after application and they didn't pull any report yet. CHASE usually pulls Equifax and Experian in Texas. Possibly they wanted to verify her identity. Will update tomorrow.
They did not pull my reports till i called to verify app Monday morning
I'm in AK and they pulled both eq and ex
