CSR Approval

I hadn't been looking to add to my credit profile, up until the CSR's release, I had pretty much maximized my portfolio.  The CSR is pretty nearly the perfect card for my spend, as I do a lot of reimbursable travel and entertaining.  I was less than 5/24 in early October, but decided to wait until 11/1 to be safe.

I applied first thing this morning, and was surprised to get the 7-10 day message.  I called the backdoor number and got a rather unfriendly analyst, which is surprising at Chase.  I was put on hold for some verification.  She came back and told me I was approved for $29,900.  That is the highest auto approval I've ever received.  It brings my total Chase exposure to $56K.

Stats prior to Approval:

Pulled EX - 782

Highest CL - $31.5K

Avg CL - $15K

AAoA - 5 yrs

Total CL's - $261K

I will be PCing my CSP over to a Freedom Unlimited as soon as I can.  I'll just have to decide if I want to funnel all my spending into CSR/FU/Marriott or still keep some spend on my CB cards, JCB, Fidelity, Cash +.
