So lately I have been notified that lots of my accounts are changing for the worse either directly from the issuer or via the grapevine. Personally I have no intention of getting stuck in the crossfire if I can get away with it. My low quality Synchrony Paypal 2% MC has lost its no FTF and the 2%(1.5% now). Capital One is slicing the Walmart MC down to a Quicksilver MC. I also have a gap in my cards on groceries due to going out more in the past. I decided to fill in the existing and upcoming gaps with some fresh cards and backups.

I am finding that lots of issuers are going for Experian and am lucky anyone was willing to pick something else. The GBank Visa Signature is the one that really is interesting. It reminds me of Blispay when it comes to design and the rewards are inverted. Normally one category is set up for elevated rewards and the base is stable for everything else. This one has a 2% base for everything else while the Gaming and Sport Apps Loads is the key category at 1%. They literally are setting up people to get rewards on lottery tickets and gambling, Sadly the FTF is nothing to write home about. I2c(their issuer) however seams to be rather modern and I have put in an app for testing. I also tried for the Imagine Visa because I found their form online and they required you to either have a written offer or a prequal to apply. Tried a prequal for fun at least. The rest are rather boring major applications.
Congrats on your three approvals - so far

Thank you all for keeping the support going.
I am most pleased by Santander as they quickly turned around a 30 day torture into a pleasant wait for a card. I think the old checking account that I had with them sent the original alert as I have not done business with them for some time and they sent me a second approval notice later. I am also surprised at how agitation free the GBank application was. Yes I had to do verification but they used software that was super nice and offered a fairly reasonable turnaround. I wonder how many zeros will be on the card as my application had a 4 digit number instead of the super long ones everywhere else. I am currently most disappointed that Comenity/Bread and Citi are stalling the most out of all of them. Those two were my main wishes and they have not yet responded. Also last time I worked with Citi for a new card they wanted proof of legal presence and I sent that in. They never responded after that and issued a denial. Lastly the funniest part is that it looks like the later applications got more credit to me than my first ones as long as a denial did not happen. Kinda nice way of doing things.
Congrats
Santander Bank said I have a 839 on Experian. Wasn't paying attention if that was a FICO 8 or 9 but it was a regular score. Also Citi told me a hard no with them being inquiry no 4. Granted they also were inquiry 1 and 2 which boils me because they have issues issuing me the Custom Cash for some reason. I still hope Comenity can tell me something good. Also typical Santander the card is flashy as heck.
