@Anonymous wrote:Just logged on to see a $2500 increase to $17,500. Tried for an increase when I first got the card and was denied because account was too new. What a lovely surprise. Its not noted on my first statement so it must have increased after statement. No email or notification to me at all.

@Anonymous @before the payment! I'm hoping my "account too new" can end up getting that kind of action. In two weeks of having the card I've spent and paid a little over $400. My statement should cut on the 25th and I'll pay the current balance in full. Hopefully they see that I need a limit higher than my $500 SL. I've read on here that Cap1 likes usage...so I'm trying to show them love
Grats on your CLI!!

Wow. I hope I get similar love. Started using my new Venture this week and plan to put about the same amount of spend as you, on it, this month.
CONGRATS! I've put $1,200 on one of my Venture's and $1,100 on the other. Both 1st statements are set to close on the 27th. Let's see if I get that luv like you got. Both limits are currently $15,000. I think a lot probably had to do with your profile plus the usage. I haven't used any other cards but Capital One this month. I did try cli at activation and received the too new denial but at least it wasnt a HP. Again, congrats on your success.
