Just when I thought a credit limit increase was hopeless, I thought I would try my luck and go for it! I tried once before by going the EO route with no luck. This time I just went through the Credit Limit Increase Request online.
Automatic increase from my sad little $750 cl to $1750! Thank you Capital One!! I have had the card for just about a year - no late payments and it gets good use every month. I don't pay it in full, but I do make sure that I pay it down so it reports at about 9% util.
Today might be your lucky day too

Yes @msevelee - I put in my annual income, employment status and monthly rent/house payment and hit submit .. A few seconds later there was a message that said, this account qualifies for a $1000 credit limit increase! And then it gives you 3 options: it says would you like to: 1. Accept the increase and start using right away 2. Accept a lower increase amount 3. Don't accept and keep your limit where it's at (those are not the exact words at all but you get the idea!)
The increase was immediately reflected on my account!
