Cap1 Acct Combo and CLI Success on 1st available day!

I had two QS1 accounts, one at $850 cl, and the other at $500, which i opened exactly 6 months ago.  I requested a cli on my $500 QS1 before my

6th statement, and they gave me $100.  Today, my 6th statement cut and I received an auto cli (credit steps?) bringing the limit to $1,100.  Today is my 6th 

statement, so I immediately requested an account combination, since I would rather have less cards than more cards. 

I now have one QS1 card with a $1,950 credit limit.  All of this after I have burned Cap1 twice!  Once in Bk back in 2001, and again with an unpaid Charge off in 2012.

Cap 1 is VERY forgiving.  

I wonder if I can get a Venture1 card from them??  hmmm....

Congrats that's exactly what Credit Steps increase we just got last week also . We were thinking of combining both cards , one is at 500 it started as a secured cc but unsecured in Jan and the other just hit 6 mths and got bumped to 1100 CL

Cool...I take it you didn't have any problems combining accounts. I'll be combining my platinum with my QS come June, once the credit step increase kicks in on the platinum. Best Wishes!

No problems at all, my 6th statement cut today April 2nd, a Sunday no less, and the account combination feature was available.  I had tried yesterday, and the feature was

not available.  Both accounts had a zero balance.

Cognrats on the increases and account combo. I love how easy it is to combine with Cap 1. Just did this myself last month with the Venture and Quicksilver. I agree with AJC, why not go for the Venture!
