Cap1 Approval - Credit Steps question

Hi, I was recently approved for a Platinum and QS1, both with $3k CLs. (I know they're not rockstar cards, but I'm pretty happy to be approved for anything at all considering my decimated credit report after 5 years of Ch 13 BK)

I was just wondering how you know if you're enrolled in Credit Steps? Is it an automatic thing for these two cards? I haven't gotten any emails or anything about it.

Congrats on the approvals, and you should see a CLI (credit steps, ...if you got the document saying you were in credit steps)...on statements 6-8. Be patient for them

I doubt you're in credit steps with those SLs. Check your statement for credit steps. If you're in credit steps you'll see a big increase in 7 months, if not just hit the love button after your 7th statement.

You can go on chat and ask them if you are in credit steps. With SL's like that, I doubt you are.

I agree, I doubt your are in Credit Steps with those initial limits; however, I've gotten an email stating I was in about a month after having the card. It wasn't mentioned in the documents that came with my card(s).

I got "welcome to capital one" email earlier today and it said something about a CLI after 5 on time payments, but nothing about Credit Steps specifically. I guess I'll find out when I get my cards (can't wait!!) can't seem to get on chat yet, sad.

My SL with my Quicksilver was $3k just like you and after six months they bumped me up to $7k!
