Cap1 CLI- accept? or wait?

I was approved 12/14 for Cap1 Platinum for 300. Credit steps kicked in and I was bumped to 2300... now I'm at a year and did a cli request. They offered just a 750 increase, which would have me at $3050. I've seen where people wait a bit after being offered a smaller amount, and a short time later are offered larger increases. I'm wondering if in Cap1 standards, whether $750 is a good amount, or if I could wait a bit and do better. Thanks!

Re: Cap1 CLI- accept? or wait?

That would be totally up to you. I once asked for a cli with capital one through the luv button and was offered an increase of $2500. I initailly denied it.  A few days later I asked again and this time was offered only $1,000!!  So it can either work in your favor or against you. Although in your case I think it'd be better to wait it out a bit.

On the road to a positive rebuld!!!!

Personally I think it depends on your situation. A just hit my first $5000 limit on a non store card since 2008. My increases really helped with my util so I accepted. If you have good utilization then maybe you could hold out. For me, as long as it is above $1000 I am taking it for now.
