Cap1 Walmart Rewards MasterCard approval

Those **bleep** pre-qualification sites got me again. Someone mentioned that in a thread about the Cap 1 Walmart MasterCard so I jumped over there to see if they'd open their arms to me. I had a Walmart store card but that was torched during my BK. The same with a few Cap1 cards. The page said I'd be approved so I did something I said I wouldn't do until June '23... that's apply for another card. I was approved for a $2K limit. This is actually my lowest limit so I think it's a sign to stop for awhile. These cards grow so I'm not worried about the SL.

Congrats on the approval! Do they still have the SUB of 5% cash back for using Walmart Pay in store for 12 months? If so, and you do a lot of shopping at Walmart (especially groceries). that can really add up quickly. I'm about 7 months through mine and will be very sad when it's over lol.

Yes they do. There is a Walmart minutes from me so I tend to be there often. Actually, I think there is a Walmart minutes from everyone!
