Cap1 finally unsecured, Amex, Jcrew and WS! What a day!

This has been a good day in my rebuild after Chase really screwed me over.

First of all, I pushed the luv button on Jcrew today and got a cli from $1730 to $5050! Woohoo! 

I then tried Williams Sonoma....went from $5250 to $7250!!

It wasn't an hour later that I got an email from Cap1 stating that my secured Platinum had been unsecured and my $99 had been applied to my account. I checked and my account is now -$99 (I had 0 balance)! 11 month statement cut. I also have a QS1 that should get credit steps next month. I haven't been able to get a cli due to "too many inq". I need to know what the best route is once I get my credit steps and if I should combine the 2 cards or what??? I'm thinking I should wait and ask for a cli on the plat after the 12th statement and wait for credit steps to kick in before I do anything, but then what? Help is very much appreciated!

I decided to go over to Amex and do the prequal. I've never gotten anything! This is the first time something showed up and it was the green card. Oh well. I TOOK IT! I then applied for the blue cash card and got a "we are thinking about it" message. We shall see! 

Overall, I'm very happy with everything that happened today and I really need to learn how to stay gardening. No more apps!!!

I got the dreaded "we are thinking about it" message and thanks for applying. I'm in with AMEX (even if it is a charge card)! Going to treat it like gold and hopefully they will offer me something better in the future.

Which probably means I didn't get the blue cash. In time...patience.

Congrats on the credit limit increases.  The only thing that showed up for me on prequalify Amex site was the green card with no bonus offer and decided instead to apply for gold premier with 50000 point offer and was approved.

I have never had a pre-approval with AMEX.

Watched my EX report and once I crossed over the 670 mark and had no baddies, I applied for the BCE.

Instant approval with a $1000 SL.
