First time I ever got a preapproval emailed to me from CapOne, but I did.
Decided to apply (against my better judgement knowing they'd likely pull all three reports.) I WAS approved, but only for a small $1k SavorOne CC... the upsides, no AF, interest free for the first 9 months, and the typical 3% cash back for dining, streaming, events, etc.
Doubt I'll be using this much, but will add it to my arsenal.
Congrats on the new card, a cautious SL but i'm sure that will grow.
congrats on the approval! who knows if down the road you can get yourself a venture x and have a good 1-2 punch

I would say it's definitely a win that it wasn't a $500 SL
and definitely agree with above that Venture X in the future might be very nice
